My daughter helps me care for my husband. Can she sign up for Link2Care too?
Additional family caregivers are welcome to participate in Link2Care. All we ask is for the primary caregiver (in this case, you), to contact their Family Consultant at their CRC (or Nurse at the Alzheimer's Research Center clinic) and give their authorization for an additional family member to be enrolled in Link2Care. Once the primary caregiver gives their approval, the additional caregiver will be contacted by the CRC and asked some basic information that will be used for identification purposes. The additional caregiver will need to select their own user name and password. It is not necessary for the additional caregiver to live in California.
-
How long after enrollment will I be able to enter the Link2Care website?
You will be able to use Link2Care approximately 1-3 business days after registering. This time is used to check with the Caregiver Resource Center (CRC) or UC Davis Alzheimer's Research Center you identified on your registration form to confirm your eligibility. If you are unsure if you are associated with a CRC or Alzheimer's Research Center, please click on Find Your Local CRC to contact the center nearest you. Once confirmed you will receive a welcome e-mail inviting you to use the site at your convenience.
